February 2018 Degustabox Subscription Box Review

Hey Guys! Happy February! So I know it’s a little late in the month, but today I wanted to share what came in this month’s Degustabox! I’ve been apart of the Degustabox subscription for almost a year now, and I have to say that each month has been different and just as amazing! This month’s goodies are so fun and delicious!

What’s a DegustaBox?

The Degustabox is a monthly subscription box that brings your favorite snacks straight to your doorstep every month. The subscription costs $19.99 per month bringing you a big box of 10-15 goodies and products inside. When my Degustabox showed up to my house, I was surprised with how big and heavy the box was. When I opened it up, I found everything perfectly wrapped in brown paper. Degustabox does such a good job with wrapping the breakable glass items in bubble wrap to make sure no accidents happen upon delivery.

Taking a look inside the February box, I found so many delicious full-sized snacks and some products that I’ve never heard of! The box came with a few pieces of paper that tell a little bit about the products included in the box, and  sometimes includes a couple of recipes that include some of the products!

Here’s what came in my February 2018 Degustabox:

Goya Refried Black & Pinto Beans ($1.39 each)- I’m always happy when canned goods come in a Degustabox because they are just so good to have on hand! I love refried beans but have never tried the Goya brand, which I’m excited to try out! I see a burrito night in the near future!!

LUNA Lemon Bars ($1.39 for a full-sized bar)- I think I’ve only ever tried the peanut butter Luna bars, so I was excited to try out the LemonZest bars! After taking one bite, I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious they are and how perfect they are to add into a lunch or to just have them on-the-go! They are supposed to give you a little burst of energy and nutrition so these are the perfect things to have on hand.

Lundberg Family Farms White Cheddar Red Rice & Quinoa Chips ($3.29)- Made with a Red Rice, Quinoa, a hint of garlic, and aged white cheddar, these chips are supposed to be packed with flavor. But to be honest, I wasn’t very fond of the flavor of these chips, especially when eaten alone. I guess I don’t like chips that much. But I could see that they would probably pair very nicely with any kind of dip because they have a really nice crunch!

Sir Kensington’s Spicy Ketchup ($4.99)- Now I am a huge fan of ketchup so I was happy to see this Spicy Ketchup. Being one who usually doesn’t like anything spicy, I surprisingly could tolerate the spicy-ness of this ketchup! I’m glad that this came in February’s box because I probably would have never bought this myself at the grocery store!

Mrs. Renfro’s Texas Red Craft Beer Salsa ($3.49)- I haven’t gotten around to using this salsa, but it sounds really delicious! It supposedly is great as a chili base, marinade, or simple dip which makes is so versatile! I think I will first try it out as a dip, and maybe add it into the next pot of chili we make!

The Spice Hunter Coriander Lime Spice ($4.99)- So in just a couple of days I will be celebrating my first year of marriage with my husband which means I’ve cooked more than ever in my life! In this past year, one of my goals have been to play around with more spices and become a better cook! I was excited to see this Corainder Lime spice in this month’s Degustabox because this specific spice sounds like it will be a delicious addition to many meals! I like that on the side of the bottle there is a recipe to make peanut dipping sauce which I need to try out ASAP!

Baboli Thin Pizza Crust ($3.99)- I’ve been wanting to make homemade pizza lately, so this was a pleasant surprise to find in this month’s box! I’ve tried these pizza crusts in the past and absolutely love them! They are super delicious and make such a fun and easy dinner!

Tiger Tail Classic Mustard ($1.99)- Who doesn’t love mustard?! Even if you aren’t crazy about mustard, it’s still an essential to have in any fridge! I like that an essential item came in this month’s box because I was honestly just about out of mustard and thought that it was cool to see a different brand of mustard from what I usually pick up at the store.

Baboli Tomato Pizza Sauce ($2.75)- Since Degustabox had a pizza crust in this month’s box, it was sure kind of them to add in some pizza sauce! I haven’t tried Baboli’s pizza sauce so it will be nice to get to try it out! And if I like it (which I most definitely will!) I will have to repurchase!

Final Thoughts

I really liked February’s DegustaBox because it was filled with so many delicious things that are good to have on hand! I love that there are NEVER the same products in each Degustabox making it such a fun surprise each month to go through each box! All the different brands that were in this month’s box were seriously amazing and of course, delicious!! Thanks Degustabox!
