Hey guys! Happy Fall! Hope everyone is having a wonderful month so far and enjoying all the festivities that comes with October! As you guys may know, a new month means there’s a new Degustabox! With that being said, today I wanted to share with you what exactly came in this month’s box! I gotta say, this month’s box certainly didn’t disappoint! Enjoy!
What’s a DegustaBox?
The Degustabox is a monthly subscription box that brings your favorite snacks straight to your doorstep every month. The subscription costs $19.99 per month bringing you a big box of 10-15 goodies and products inside. When my Degustabox showed up to my house, I was surprised with how big and heavy the box was. When I opened it up, I found everything perfectly wrapped in brown paper. Degustabox does such a good job with wrapping the breakable glass items in bubble wrap to make sure no accidents happen upon delivery.
Taking a look inside the October box, I found so many delicious full-sized snacks and some products that I’ve never heard of! The box came with a few pieces of paper that tell a little bit about some of the products, sometimes includes a couple of recipes, and has a list of all the items included in the subscription for the month.
Here’s what came in my October 2017 Degusta Box:
Kernel Season’s Popcorn Flavoring ($1.49 each)- These delicious powdered popcorn flavorings are one of my favorite things that came in this month’s Degustabox! Being a popcorn lover, these will definitely be a hit, especially now with the colder weather being here, which calls for a lot more cozy movie nights!
Boboli Pizza Crust ($4.27)- I am so excited about this Baboli Pizza Crust because it gives me the excuse to make a delicious pizza for dinner without having to leave the house for a trip to a pizza place! It also allows me to be creative and make a unique pizza of my very own!
Goetze’s Candy Co.’s Cow Tales ($2.25)- So I’ve never personally tried CowTales until now, and I am pleasantly surprised with the delicious taste of these chewy caramel and cream filled candies! I will definitely share them with my family because I certainly can’t hog them for myself!
Hippeas Organic Chickpea Puffs ($3.49)- Now I’ve never heard of this brand until now, but these puffy snacks are pretty much the perfect snack for all ages. Being very crunchy and perfectly flavorful, you wouldn’t even think these are vegan before reading the package. I would love to rebuy these and try their other flavors next time! They are definitely a hit with my family!
Loacker Quadratini Raspberry Wafer Cookies ($3.99)- Okay, okay, now THESE raspberry wafer cookies are my favorite item in this months box. Having never heard of them before, I was a little iffy of trying them out, thinking that they would taste just like those bland, sugary wafer cookies you can get at any grocery store. But wow, these taste like you are eating fresh raspberry jam with a refreshing crunch. The only negative thing about these wafer cookies is that they are highly addicting and will be gone before you know it! 🙂
Welch’s Fruit’n Yogurt Snacks ($2.99)- Made with real fruit and surrounded with a creamy yogurt shell, these Fruit ‘n Yogurt snacks are definitely not anything new, but they are super yummy and make the perfect little sweet treat in any kid’s (or young-spirited adults) lunchbox! I love that they just melt in your mouth. These are quite addicting as well!
Bush’s White Chili Beans ($1.39)- I am so happy with receiving beans in this month because is it even October if you don’t eat or make some kind of chili? The closer it gets to Halloween, I am stocking up on ingredients to make a tasty, hearty chili on Halloween Night because that’s a family tradition. Can’t wait!
Bush’s Best Kidney Beans ($1.39)- Kidney beans are some of my favorite beans because they taste absolutely amazing in salads of all kinds. But instead of being included in any salads, this can of Bush’s Kidney beans is also going to be included in my family’s annual chili making on Halloween!
Sunbutter Sunflower Butter ($6.99 for 16oz Full Sized Jar)- I don’t think I have ever tried sunflower butter before, but I am glad that I did! This stuff is tastes amazing and is perfect alternative for those with a peanut allergy. Even though the Degusta Box only came with two small sample sizes of this Sunflower Butter, I’m glad because I probably wouldn’t have bought it at the store without trying it first. Thankful I got to sample this stuff because it is delicious and will definitely be a purchase I will make on our next grocery trip!
Dave’s Naturals Overnight Oats ($3.49)- Being a pretty big oatmeal lover, I was very excited to try out this Overnight Oat cup! All you have to do is add a little milk, the pop in the fridge and leave it there overnight. No cooking necessary! After leaving it in the fridge overnight, I was very happy with the delicious taste of these oats! What a perfect breakfast to simply pull out of the fridge in the morning, especially for people who don’t have time to make breakfast. I am very impressed with these yummy oatmeal cups!
Final Thoughts
I really liked October’s DegustaBox because the items were all centered around super simple dinner ideas and movie night snacks to eat on a chilly October night! As you can tell, I’m not the pickiest eater, so I actually enjoyed each and every product that came in this months box!
