I’ve always had a love for handmade things. I find that handmade items or gifts not only are more unique, but they are made with passion and have always have some kind of story behind them. I came across Shiyana, owner of ‘Ox and Otter’ on Etsy the other day and immediately fell in love with all of the unique mugs she makes.
This is her ‘Industrial Lilac Soup Mug’. Shiyana has currently discontinued making this specific color, so I feel honored to have one of the last ‘Industrial Lilac’ pieces. One of my favorite things about this mug is the stunning beauty and quality. I love how the lilac lightly fades to a beautiful greenish-blue color on the inside and out.
Each and every Ox and Otter mug has such a unique and abstract design. There are so many different colors to choose from, anyone could find one they like! I also love the engraved logo on the bottom of the cup- So cute!
All of Shiyana’s handmade creations are perfect for anyone who loves coffee, tea or soup! I’m not even a coffee drinker, but I do love good ol’ herbal peppermint and chamomile tea!
This ‘soup cup’ is roughly 4 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall. I’ve been drinking a ton of chamomile tea lately because I’ve been sick with a sore throat and congestion, so this is the perfect sized cup to hold a bunch of soothing tea and soups for me.
If you know someone who is total coffee or tea lover, Ox and Otter’s handmade mugs are the perfect gift for them this holiday season! I believe some of the best gifts out there are the ones that are handmade.
