Being someone who absolutely loves skin care, I surprisingly haven’t tried out many gel stick-on face masks or even tried out eye patches. I’ve definitely been curious about them and all the benefits they claim to have, so of course I just had to pick up some from Patchology and try them out for myself. Now this post isn’t a review of long term results of wearing these mask, but mostly my first impressions of these products.
I personally have pretty dry, combination skin with some dark circles under my eyes so I picked up the FlashMasque Illuminate 5 Minute Sheet Mask (Pack of 4 for $30) and the FlashPatch Illuminating Eye Gels (Pack of 5 for $15). Both of these masks are supposed to give your face a boost of radiance, plump the skin, and brighten any dull-looking areas. Packed with Vitamin C and other great skin-loving ingredients, I was very excited to get face-masking!!
Thoughts on the Illuminate 5 Minute Face Mask
First off, this mask really stuck out to me because it supposedly works it’s magic in only 5 minutes. Plus, do you see how adorable this face mask is? It’s so shimmery! Containing ingredients like Licorice, Grapefruit extracts and a whole lot of Vitamin C, I knew my skin would love this mask. One of the first things I noticed was that when I took the mask out of the package is how much product the mask is saturated in. I was quite impressed. First I washed off all of my makeup, pat my face dry then immediately applied the face mask making sure it laid flat against all the contours of my face. I actually left it on for about 7 minutes because it felt very cooling on my face so I didn’t want to take it off!
After the 7 minutes, I noticed once I peeled it off that my skin looked very soothed. Sometimes face masks make my skin a tad bit irritated but this one felt amazing and my skin totally approved! My pores looked tighter and my skin felt extremely soft! The beautiful thing about these mask is that you simply rub in the residue from the mask instead of rinsing it off. It honestly adsorbs into the skin perfectly! It definitely did give my skin a more radiant look to it and I honestly saw a difference in the look of my skin under my makeup after I used the mask!

Thoughts on the FlashPatch Illuminating Eye Gel Masks
Now for the eye patches, these little patches are SO cute and shimmery just like the face masks. They contain different ingredients like Green Tea, Mulberry Extract, Vitamin C, that also help with hydration, brighten the under eyes, and boost microcirculation making them the best thing you can do for your eyes after a sleepless night and when you can use all the brightening you can get! The first time using these patches I immediately saw an improvement in my dark circles. They looked ever so slightly better and that was just the first time using them! These patches are definitely one of my new favorite skin care products!

Final Thoughts
I’m very impressed with these masks and found that they actually have made a difference in my all around skin texture and quality and make my makeup look extra seamless when I used them. Since I still have a few more of these eye and face masks left, I think I will put them in the refrigerator for an extra cooling, soothing effect. The masks are honestly SO good and definitely give your skin a quick pick-me-up when you need it!
