Being a huge skin care enthusiast, I constantly look for skin care that’s more on the natural side, and especially ones that contain ingredients that do wonders for the skin. Now this brand I am pretty familiar with because I’ve tried out a few of their products before and that’s when I first fell in love with Brooklyn Botany. Today I wanted to share a little haul of some of their products because I picked up a few more and needed to share them with you because they are that good!! Let’s get started!
Activated Charcoal Shampoo
This luxurious shampoo contains activated charcoal which helps detoxify the hair and scalp leaving your hair perfectly cleansed without stripping it completely of natural oils. The activated charcoal has a lot of benefits like helping to get rid of dandruff build-up, adding volume, and leaving hair looking glossy. It also contains other ingredients like Moroccan Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Keratin, Almond Oil, and Coconut Oil which help seal in moisture, add beautiful shine, and repair dry hair. It’s definitely a good shampoo for all hair types especially including color treated locks.
Thoughts: I’ve used this shampoo a couple times now and so far I love how clean it makes my hair feel. I already wash my hair a few times a week and since using this shampoo, I honestly think I can go longer in between washes because my hair doesn’t get as greasy as quickly which is a life (and time) saver because it’s very time consuming to wash, dry, and style my super long, thick hair! It’s a very sudsy shampoo that definitely gets in there and deep cleans the hair and scalp which I love! This shampoo has a very light scent which helps make your hair smell beautiful!

Brown Sugar Scrub
This brown sugar scrub is not only gorgeous and deliciously scented, it’s a must for achieving buttery-soft skin. Made out of brown sugar, this scrub is different from other sugar and salt scrubs because brown sugar has a softer, more fine grit which makes it more gentle on the skin and can even be used on the face and lips! Brown sugar contains glycol acid which fights bacteria and supports cell turnover leaving skin with a healthy glow.
Thoughts: Now I’ve tried out a couple of Brooklyn Botany’s body scrubs before in a previous blog post, so I already know how amazing they make your skin feel. This one in particular I wanted to try because it look SO yummy and it’s a sugar scrub versus a salt scrub, which were the ones I’ve tried out before. When I first opened the pretty jar, I found how creamy and satisfying the scrub felt! It definitely makes the skin feel so soft and locks in moisture. I also tried it as a lips scrub and it effortlessly scrubbed off any dead skin I had on my lips making them perfectly smooth! The smell is absolutely amazing and seriously decadent! This is absolutely my new favorite body and face scrub!

Ultra Pure Vitamin C Serum
A good vitamin C serum is a must for all skin care lovers because it does so many wonderful things for the skin like helping with anti-aging, tightening, and brightening the complexion to name a few. Brooklyn Botany’s serum is one of the most concentrated serums out there making it one of their best-selling products. Containing the main ingredient of L-ascorbic acid, it’s proven to reduce hyperpigmentation, plump up fine lines, boost the production of collagen, improve overall skin texture, and protect skin from every day UV rays and free radicals.
Thoughts: I never really knew how important Vitamin C serums were until I saw all of the benefits of using it and especially because all of the amazing positive reviews left on Brooklyn Botany’s serum. So far I’ve used this serum for about 5 days and it’s left my skin feeling amazingly soft and very clear. I noticed that even my pores are looking more tighter and my makeup has been looking a little extra flawless! I like to apply the serum after I wash my face both morning and night and before I put on my light moisturizer. It’s absolutely amazing!! If you feel like your skin care routine is missing something, I highly recommend trying out this serum!

I’ve tried Brooklyn Botany’s products in the past, and their products truly never cease to amaze me! Each product they offer is specifically made to nourish the skin, hair and body without any extra unnecessary ingredients, which I love! Their packaging is gorgeously minimalist, yet informative because they have all of their amazing ingredients right there on the bottle so you can see all the good things that go into their products! One more wonderful thing about this company is that their products are extremely affordable for all budgets! Brooklyn Botany is truly a wonderful company with wonderful products!
