Having such a passion for makeup, I love trying out new products and can immediately tell which ones are a hit or miss. So when I saw Esqido’s brand new, first-ever makeup product, I just knew I wanted to try it out. Esqido is known for their amazing mink and synthetic lashes (which I did a couple posts about recently) and so when they came out with a brand new gel eyeliner, I knew I wanted to do a little review of it! Let’s get into it!
So I picked up both of their available colors in black and brown because I tend to use both colors on a regular basis. These liners are supposed to have gel liner benefits with the convenience of a sharpenable pencil. Of course I did a swatch of them on my arm before I tried them on my eyes just to see the opacity and texture of them. Immediately I was impressed with how they glide on and are super opaque.
I even left these two swatches on for awhile and when I went to try to rub them off, they honesty didn’t budge at all! I had to wash them off with some soap and water because they are literally smudge-proof, which is a great sign of a good eyeliner.
The first liner that I tried on my eyes was the black Gel Liner and found that the liner glided on so easy. I usually have a tough time with liners like these because I always end up making my liner look too thick and heavy. Thankfully each liner comes with a tiny sharpener which allows you to sharpen the tip so that you can easily achieve a sharp cat eye like I did below!
Final Thoughts
I am overall super impressed with these Esqido Gel Liners. For being Esqido’s very first makeup product, they really nailed the formula, texture and beautiful packaging! Being seriously smudge-proof and extremely opaque, I definitely recommend these liners for anyone who loves a good eyeliner that will stay put all day long!
I honestly hope that Equido comes out with more makeup products because these are some great products that I will use every last drop of!
