Being drawn in by their beautiful minimalist packaging and drool-worthy all-natural ingredients, I fell in love with Brooklyn Botany‘s clean beauty products! I first stumbled upon their brand on Instagram a few months ago and was completely obsessed. Being too good to pass up, I knew I had to pick up some of their gorgeous products to try out.
A Little Bit About Brooklyn Botany
Brooklyn Botany came to be when the founder realized he lives where jungles are made of concrete buildings and pollution is everywhere: Brooklyn, New York. He realized that many people were craving a piece of nature for themselves in Brooklyn, especially when it came to skin care. This led to his decision to dedicate himself to the mission of bringing nature right to their doorstep in the form of pure skin care ingredients.
Here are some of Brooklyn Botany’s products that I tried out and absolutely love:
Avocado Body Scrub
This beautiful Body Scrub effortlessly gets rid of tired, dry, flaky skin with the help of Avocado oil. Containing mineral-saturated dead sea salt and pure avocado oil, it’s easier than ever to exfoliate dry, flaky skin while deeply nourishing and leaving skin supple. Vitamin C is also packed inside the container that helps rejuvenate and stimulate the production of collagen, which helps plump and make skin look younger. Organic Aloe Vera and an infusion of skin softening oils are also included which help heal and provide anti-inflammatory aid to all skin types.
Thoughts: I am so in love with this wonderful body scrub! It has a super light scent and feels so dreamy when slathered on the skin. My skin has been super dry lately, especially around the knees and elbows, but whenever I use this scrub, my skin feels perfectly hydrated. I especially love using this scrub when I want to get a close shave on my legs. It definitely helps give my legs a super close shave leaving them so buttery smooth.

Camellia Wonder Oil
Supposedly being a super versatile oil, the beautiful, lightly scented Camellia Wonder oil is supposed to be great for removing stubborn eye make up, gentle enough to be used as an everyday facial cleanser, reduce appearance of scars and stretch marks, moisturize the whole body, and can be used as a massage oil.
Thoughts: With all the many ways to use it, my personal favorite way to use the Camellia Wonder Oil is to slather it on my arms and legs after each shower. The oil is so light that it absorbs almost instantly into the skin leaving it perfectly moisturized without feeling greasy. The Wonder Oil definitely has to be my favorite product from Brooklyn Botany because it has so many uses!

Activated Charcoal Body and Face Scrub
Charcoal scrub has a super long history and Japanese belief that the Earth provides everything that is needed to contribute to our health and beauty. Brooklyn Botany’s Charcoal scrub also contains coveted salts from the dead sea, as well as charcoal that helps pull out all kinds of impurities deep within the skin revealing cleansed, clear, and fresh skin.
Thoughts: Since the charcoal scrub has such detoxifying properties, this body and face scrub is perfect for those who have acne-prone skin like I do. I personally love this scrub because it makes my skin feel so soft yet doesn’t break my skin out. Since this does contain some skin-quenching oils, I was a little hesitant to put this on my face, but went ahead and used it as a face scrub anyway. To my surprise I haven’t broken out at all since using it a few times on my face. I love alternating between using this scrub and the Avocado Scrub each time I take a shower. I think I’m now addicted to body scrubs!
