Hi Friends! Last weekend my husband and I went on a spontaneous road trip to Seattle for the weekend. Since the trip was so last minute, I threw some clothes in my bag and hoped that I remembered to bring everything I needed especially for the unpredictable weather the Pacific Northwest has. One outfit that I was sure to remember though, was this super simple long black cardigan outfit with distressed cutoffs and strappy heels. I’m so glad I actually got to wear it out for date night because if it rained the whole trip, you would’ve seen me in a thick rain jacket with a hood and umbrella the whole time! The weather was definitely in my favor the whole trip thankfully!
I chose this outfit to wear over the weekend because it’s simple, yet made me feel confident and bold. Since it doesn’t really look or feel like spring just yet in Seattle besides the beautiful cherry blossoms that are in full bloom all over the city, I thought a thick, long cardigan was a must for the chilly, overcast days. Plus I wanted to share with you guys my new-found love for distressed, cutoff jeans. They definitely add an extra edgy-ness to any outfit.
Cutoff jeans are seriously my obsession right now. They look amazing with any kind of heels.
If you are loving the look of distressed denim cutoffs this spring like me, I highly suggest checking out Tobi for the perfect pair! I’m in love with the look and fit of these Katie Distressed Skinny Jeans– they got me started with my obsession of distressed cutoffs! Happy spring!!
