Round beach blankets. Where have they been all my life??? I’m not exactly sure how long they’ve been around, but it seems like I’ve never heard of them until recently. I guess I have just been living under a rock. Ever since discovering them on Instagram and Pinterest, I have been wanting to get my hands on one of those gorgeous pieces of heaven for my trip to Oahu, Hawaii! Now since I have one, I have labeled these beach blankets as a major summer essential!
Thankfully before my trip, I found Beach Life is so Sweet, a company who not only sells these gorgeous beach blankets at a reasonable price, but some of the money spent on them go directly to different charities. That means you can feel good about shopping while contributing to different causes. How sweet is that?!
I got the wonderful opportunity to review the beautiful Shibori Blue Tassle Beach Blanket ($65) and let me tell you, I am SO in love with everything about it! Look at the beauty! Measuring about 6 1/2 feet across, this beauty is big enough to fit a few people on it. It’s perfect for the beach, picnics, concerts and more!
Made with 100% handwoven cotton from India, each blanket from B.L.I.S.S. is hand selected and a unique work of art. There are SO many different patterns to choose from. I chose the gorgeous Shibori blanket because it’s just my style. My favorite thing about it is the long white tassels because they give it that care-free boho look! So pretty!
My Shibori blanket really was such an essential on my trip to Hawaii because it made the perfect little spot on the beach to relax, protected me from the super hot sand, and made a nice towel after I was done swimming at the beach! I am in love with my B.L.I.S.S. blanket! An even cooler thing about these blankets is that they not only are perfect for various outdoor events, they can make a gorgeous bed throw, wall hanging, and even towel! Here is me sitting on Waikiki beach on the last day of my trip. It went by way too fast!
All that I have left to say is that I adore B.L.I.S.S. for their massive selection of stunning blankets and especially what they stand for. Their motto is “Pay if Forward” which really says a lot about their company. It is such a cool thing that a part of the blanket purchase goes to different charities, schools and families in need. It really is worth every penny!

I love going to the beach, but I’ve already taken one beach vacation this summer. I would take it to the concert at the zoo. I would love to lay on the blanket, looking at the sky, and listen to the music.
