“Be your own kind of beautiful.”
Beauty made Effortless with Sigma Beauty
Recently I got the opportunity to try out some Sigma Beauty products, and I just have to say I am pretty much obsessed with the amazing quality of these products. I love them so much that today I wanted to share with you my thoughts on each individual Sigma Beauty product along with a super simple makeup look that anyone can do!
Step 1: Prime, Apply Foundation & Blend!
The First thing I did to help create an even, smooth complexion is apply a face primer right after washing and moisturizing. I used Skindinavia Makeup Primer ($35) and spritzed it all over my face. I then used my favorite foundation ever, NARS All Day Luminous ($48) in the shade ‘Mont Blanc’ and used Sigma’s 3DHD Kabuki Brush ($24) to evenly apply and blend it before setting my makeup with NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder ($37).
I love the Kabuki brush so much because it can be used for creams, powders, AND liquid makeup. It has a very unique, pointed shape so it helps reach all angles and curves of my face. It is definitely my new favorite makeup brush because it is so versatile and super high quality. I also love that it comes in different colors so it can fit perfectly into anyone’s makeup brush collection!
Step 2: Make the eyes POP!
After I set my foundation, I filled my eyebrows in with Anastasia’s Dark Brown Brow Powder Duo ($23) to help frame and “lift” my face. I then blended some light brown eye shadow called ‘Wanderer’ from the Tartelette Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Pallet ($45) on my crease to give my eyes some more depth and warmth. Then with a damp, skinny eyeliner brush, I used the shade ‘Multi-tasker’ and created a subtle cat eye.
Step 3: Contour, Highlight & Add Color!
To add more dimension to my face I used the Anastasia Contour Kit Pallet ($40) with the wonderful 3DHD Kabuki Brush focusing on “carving out” my cheekbones, nose, jaw line, and temples, before highlighting the tops of my cheekbones with Gerard Cosmetics Star Powder Highlighter ($36) in the shade ‘Audrey’. I then used the Sigma Aura Powder in the Shade ‘Nymphaea’ to add more warmth and color to my cheeks.
Sigma’s Aura powders are very versatile and highly blendable. They can be used as blush, bronzer, and can lightly bring out the natural contours to the face. Nymphaea is the absolute perfect shade of coral-y pink that isn’t too neon or dark. My skin tone definitely loves it!!
Step 4 : Add some Lashes & Color that Pout!
To finish off my look I added some Eyelure Volume Lashes ($5) and Sigma’s amazing Power Stick Lipstick ($25) in the color ‘In-Spades’.
‘In-Spades’ is one of my new favorite lip colors on me because it really compliments my pale skin tone. I am in love with the formula because it glides on effortlessly while being a fully pigmented color. Also I was surprised how long-lasting it is but doesn’t feel like it’s caked on my lips! And for anyone who knows me, I am very allergic to all kinds of lipsticks and lip colors but I have had NO problem with this wonderful Power Stick! No dry, bleeding lips in sight when I use Sigma Beauty products! I am definitely above and beyond impressed with Sigma Beauty!
Here is the finished look:
This simple makeup look is perfect for everyday wear because it is so light and very easy to do. I had so much fun testing out and sharing my thoughts about each Sigma Beauty product and highly recommend checking them out because they have nothing but the best makeup products that are affordable and extremely high quality!
