Today I wanted to share with you one of my new favorite candles!
Fill your Home with Scents Inspired by Oregon
Scattergoods’ Candles are handcrafted with love in small batches here in Portland, Oregon. Not only are they super beautiful and sophisticated, they have no chemical fragrances, no petrochemicals, and are all natural, so you don’t have to worry about bringing toxins into your home! I received the full-sized 12oz ‘Richmond’ scented candle and two cute tea lights to sample their different scents and boy, do they smell amazing!
There are three different kinds of candles from Scattergoods inspired by different locations in Oregon. The first scent is called ‘Laurelhurst’ which is inspired by the rainy gardens at Laurelhurst Park in Portland. It has a beautiful light floral scent that is definitely not too overbearing. The second is ‘Concordia’, inspired by Concordia’s big and open spaces. It smells very fresh and vibrant with hints of citrus and mint. The last scent is ‘Richmond’ which has an earthy, woodsy scent inspired by the tall cedar and redwood trees located in the Richmond neighborhood in Portland. All three of these scents are beautiful and unique in their own way.
What’s in them?
Each Scattergoods candle is made with the highest quality ingredients including non-gmo soy wax, bees wax, essential oils, and a cotton wick- All ingredients that are organic and trusted. Both of the waxes combined results in a very long, clean burn. Every candle lasts about 60 hours making it well worth every penny!
Repurpose and Reuse
The ceramic candle holder is created by local ceramicist, Meadow Anderson, who is also located in Portland. There’s beautiful subtle stars that are engraved into the sides of the candle that I love because when the candle is lit, it lets off a warm glow and the stars are seen even more. The amazing thing about this product is that once all of the candle is used up, the ceramic tumbler can be reused as a cup, pen holder or anything you desire!

I love my ‘Richmond’ candle so much because it is reusable, locally made, eco-friendy, and perfectly captures smells that remind me of the beautiful, green state of Oregon that I happen to call home.
