A girl can never have enough lip sticks, balms and glosses! Am I right?!
Over the last few months of summer, I’ve been collecting a bunch of different lip colors in a lot of different shades. You can definitely tell what shades are my favorite though. I can’t get enough of all the different shades of pink and red! Today I wanted to share just a handful of my favorite matte and gloss lip colors that I keep closest to me in my purse and makeup bag! Enjoy!
1. Smashbox Be Legendary Long Wear Lip Lacquer- Firecracker
This lip lacquer is one of my favorites because it is so highly pigmented that it’s basically liquid lip stick that last all day. It lasts all day because it is also is a lip stain, so when the gloss comes off the color stays for the rest of the day! The shine factor is also amazingly glossy and I find myself not having to reapply it as much, that’s how long it stays put on my lips.
2. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm- Sultry
This chubby lip crayon is a super pigmented velvety lip balm. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it has a mild mint smell and flavor. It leaves your pout moisturized and tingling from the minty goodness! It’s one of my favorites because I love matte lip colors and it’s the perfect shade for me!
3. Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon- Hawaiian Smolder
I absolutely love this opaque, matte lip crayon by Burt’s Bees. This beautiful pink color is perfect for that pop of color you so do desire. I used this longer than any of these other lip colors I listed. I had a stick of this in my backpack my whole senior year! I love how hyderated it makes my lips. Definitely a go-to lip color for me!
4. Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter- Shade Pink
Now these little Tinties Lip Butter containers are so adorable and the packaging is even cuter. What I love about them is they moisturize your lips with botanic extracts and leave your lips with a light hint of color. It adds the perfect amount of shine and color if you want to go for more of a natural look, or you can make the color darker the more you layer it on your lips. Whenever I wear this lip butter my lips always feel so soft and plump.
