A Bold & Classic Makeup Look

Hello friends! Now I’m one who usually goes with more of a soft makeup look on a day-to-day basis, but occasionally I love rocking some bold cat eyes and classic red lips every now and then! Today I wanted to show you how I achieve this makeup look and also feature a few of my favorite products from Arbonne and Dollup Beauty!

So if you want to follow this makeup look, feel free to use any makeup brands you like! I just like sharing my personal favorite makeup and beauty products that work for me! Enjoy!

Part 1: Apply, blend, Set!

The first thing I do before doing my foundation is apply some makeup primer to help smooth my skin and create a flawless finish. I then take my favorite NARS All-Day Luminous Foundation ($48) and blend it in with a flat tipped brush. After concealing my under eye area with NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($29) and contouring with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Pallet ($40), I set my makeup with Arbonne’s Got You Covered Mineral Powder Foundation ($43) in the shade “Bisque”. This helps keep my makeup in place all day long and gives my skin an airbrushed look.

I really love Arbonne’s powdered foundation because it perfectly blurs the skin, creating a flawless look without feeling heavy.  I like that it has a mesh barrier on it that really helps prevent messes and gets the perfect amount of product on my brush without over doing it. Another wonderful thing about this powdered foundation is that it is SPF15 so that my skin can stay protected from the potentially harmful rays of the sun, and I am all about preserving my skin! This is definitely my favorite go-to powder that makes it feel like I’m not even wearing any!

Part 2: Eyes on Point!

After finishing my foundation, I shaped my eyebrows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Duo ($23) in Dark Brown with a skinny eyebrow brush, then lightly blended a light matte brown eye shadow into the creases of my eyes using the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Pallet ($49) to give my eyes more dimension. After blending, blending, blending, I used Dollup Beauty’s Doll Eyes Liquid Eye Pen ($19) to create some sharp, bold cat eyes.

This eyeliner pen is one of my top favorite eyeliners because it is highly pigmented, super precise, completely smudge proof and so easy to create a thick or thin line in one swipe. I highly recommend this eyeliner for everyone- even people who might have a little extra oil on their eyelids. It won’t go anywhere the whole day long, I promise.

Part 3: Add the Classic Finishing Touches

To finish off the classic look, I added some Revlon Lengthening Lashes ($5) to give my eyelashes some extra length. I then applied the beautiful Arbonne Smoothed Over Lip Stick ($28) in the color “Poppy”.

This is probably the most beautiful shade of bright red that I’ve ever used. Highly pigmented, this lipstick glides on easily giving my lips the perfect amount of color in just a couple of swipes- And that’s it!

That’s a pretty look! I can’t get my normal eyeliner straight anymore, argh. I’m terrified of the cat eye even though it looks so cool.

The only product I can’t do without right now is my powder from Scott Vincent Borba. It’s light but covers the majority of my blotches and stuff.
